The data used when you visit or contact me, and the rights available to you.

Who processes your data?
Vianney Barreau is the controller responsible for processing data for this portfolio and responding to messages addressed to him.
For any question or request about your data: contact@vianneybarreau.fr.
Contact form and correspondence
The form collects your name, email address, project type and message. Your business or organisation name is optional. The other fields are required to submit the form and handle your enquiry. You can also email the contact address directly.
This information is used to read your enquiry, reply and follow up on the conversation. The legal basis is Vianney Barreau’s legitimate interest in managing enquiries relating to his portfolio (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please do not include passwords, bank details or sensitive personal data in your message.
Recipients and service providers
Messages are addressed to Vianney Barreau. The following providers support the technical operation of the website and email service:
- Vercel: website hosting, delivery and security. Requests may include an IP address, the requested URL and browser information.
- FormSubmit: receives information entered in the form and forwards it by email to contact@vianneybarreau.fr. Submitting the form takes you to formsubmit.co, which may present an anti-spam check.
- OVHcloud / Zimbra: receives and stores emails in the contact mailbox.
Information entered in the form is not sent to FormSubmit before submission. Vianney Barreau does not sell your data.
Retention periods
Correspondence is kept while an enquiry is being handled, then for up to 12 months after the last exchange if it does not lead to further action. Data that is no longer needed is deleted. Relevant records may be retained separately where required by law or for a dispute, for the applicable period only.
FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days in its documentation. This period does not apply to copies received in the email mailbox.
Technical logs needed for operation and security are managed by providers under their own policies and obligations; Vianney Barreau does not use them to build a marketing contact list.
International processing
Vercel is a US company using international infrastructure. Its documentation provides for safeguards including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
Vercel Data Processing Addendum
FormSubmit’s public privacy policy does not specify processing countries or safeguards for possible transfers outside the European Economic Area. Processing exclusively within Europe therefore cannot be stated for this service. To avoid sending your message content through FormSubmit, you can email contact@vianneybarreau.fr directly.
Cookies and browser storage
The portfolio’s current code does not include advertising, advertising pixels or audience analytics. Images, videos, fonts and presentation scripts are served with the website, without embedded video players from external services or social media posts.
Temporary tab storage (sessionStorage) is used solely for page transitions. It does not contain your message text and is not used to track you across websites. It is cleared when the tab is closed.
After form submission, cookies or anti-spam checks on the FormSubmit website are managed by that service and any providers it uses. Links to social media or featured websites also open services with their own policies.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Send your request to contact@vianneybarreau.fr. A response will normally be provided within one month. This may be extended by two months for complex or numerous requests; you will be informed within the first month if an extension is needed.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, or the competent authority in your country.
The portfolio does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
Updates
This policy describes how the portfolio currently operates. It will be updated if the tools, uses of data or publisher’s status change, including when a business is established.
